Courtyard by Marriott Dallas Flower Mound

Our second time staying at the Courtyard Marriott in Flowermound! Beautiful rooms, excellent location and stellar staff! A shoutout to Andre at the front desk who was as sweet and helpful as can be! Our go-to when visiting Dallas!

We picked this hotel to go with for our room block for our wedding across the street at Chapel at the Riverwalk. It is perfect location just a 2 min walk to the venue if you're a bride-to-be. The rooms we're great and my husband and I got the suite so we would have a place to get ready the morning of and getting ready before we went to the venue. There were a few issues with having this hotel as our room block for our guests. My grandparents had asked for a handicap room as they're in their late 80s and they didn't get one, when we checked them in there were none left unfortunately. Secondly, my immediate family had booked a few rooms and not all of them were reserved when checking in. I had been in close communication with Abe and Maddie to ensure we were all set beforehand so I am not sure how this got messed up. It was very frustrating as everyone was flying in for our day and the hotel was having trouble getting everyone a room when these were booked months in advance. Besides the coordination everything else went great. We loved that Marriott had a shuttle free of charge for pick up and drop off during our wedding which was huge so our guests could get to and from the venue without having to worry about driving or walking back.

We had a wonderful experience at Courtyard Dallas Flower Mound. We came here for a wedding rehearsal event and were very impressed with everything. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating, making sure all our needs were met. The hotel and rooms were extremely clean and well-kept, which made our stay very comfortable. The food served during the event was tasty and well-prepared. The area provided for the event was spacious and worked perfectly for our group.

I would have gave this hotel 5 stars if the shower in our room had hot water and water pressure. During peak shower hours at its best level the water was lukewarm and the pressure was weak all the time. Other than that the hotel is very nice along with the staff, amenities and the area in which you are staying.

This hotel is ideal for families. We stayed in a large suite that was perfect for our needs, with enough space for the kids to play and sleep comfortably. The pool area had a shallow section for younger children and a hot tub for adults. The kids’ club offered fun activities supervised by staff, giving parents a chance to relax. The restaurant had a good variety of dishes, including healthy options. The hotel’s location was convenient for visiting nearby parks and museums. The staff were very friendly and helpful, making sure everyone enjoyed their stay.

Would give five stars except for one major flaw. I travel with my own media stick and they have new TVs in the rooms which supposedly are friendly to guests provided media sticks but will not allow the volume to be controlled with either the media stick remote control or the TV remote control. The volume automatically sets to maximum volume which makes the use of the media stick impossible. Otherwise the rooms the staff and the service were precisely what one would expect from a Marriott and that is first rate.

Staff members did an outstanding job making me feel welcome during a very extended stay. My room was spacious and filled with light. Flower Mound is not a place with a central business area so you can forget night life. On the plus side, this location is next to a nice walking trail which is nice and the free parking garage can protect your car from hail.
